Bayonne is the least "coastal" of these cities but not the least exciting. City of Art and History, with its Cathedral and its Cloister, it is famous for its colourful houses that run along the river front and cobbled streets. Bayonne if a great city for and lively evenings in tapas bars and stunning restaurants.
Biarritz is the most elegant of the seaside resorts. A paradise for surfers and gourmets, we love it for its great beaches, shops, aquarium, art galleries and trendy bars. And for its strolls between city and sea, along the cornice to the Rocher de la Vierge.
Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a working harbour that is just as welcoming as it is colourful. Visit the beautiful Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, enjoy strolling by the Port or wandering the pedestrian streets dipping in and out of bars and restaurants as you sample all the local gastronomic specialities.
